About Total Soccer

Total Soccer was founded in 1997 as one of the first pay-per-use soccer academies in the Lower Mainland. It was originally known as "TSS Academy" but recently, the soccer club arm of the business became a separate organization now known as TSS Rovers Football Club. Over the years, Total Soccer has become the most established and successful youth soccer academy in the province, boasting over 600 players annually. Players come from all reaches of the Lower Mainland to attend Total Soccer programs. In some cases, players even travel from outside the Lower Mainland as far as Kelowna and the Sunshine Coast to attend sessions.

Many players have used Total Soccer as a place to develop a technical foundation in their early years - even national team players such  as Christine Sinclair, Terry Dunfield, Julia Grosso, Sari Raber, and many youth national team players.

Thousands of players have come through Total Soccer over the years. Many players have used Total Soccer as a place to develop a technical foundation in their early years - even national team players Christine Sinclair, Terry Dunfield, Julia Grosso, Sari Raber, and many youth national team players. But Total Soccer is not just for top elite players. The academy helps young players of all abilities to advance their game. Our vision statement is clear:

Total Soccer strives to teach youth how to become skillful and effective soccer players by providing a professional and optimal learning environment. Our objective is to help players attain long term joy and success in the game.

Our player development model supplements the work done by community coaches by breaking down the fundamental techniques in the game. Our objective is to improve technical proficiency so young players can extract more joy from the game.
